גי'מי ("ג'ימבו") וויילס, מייסד ויקיפדיה, פרש לאחרונה מהנהלת האנציקלופדיה החופשית. לפי דיווח של הטיימס אונליין, הוא כבר מצא לו פרוייקט חדש: מנוע חיפוש שיתחרה בזה של גוגל ויאהו, במימון הענקית אמזון.

המנוע חיפוש יעשה בדומה למה שנעשה בויקפדיה הוא יעודכן ע"י גולשים בקישורים רלוונטים המנוע שמכונה Wikiasari

יעבוד לא כמו גוגל שמונע כולו ע"י סריקה של רובוטים שבודקים ולפי זה מוציאים תוצאות

Update: The TechCrunch story is also wrong. This project has nothing to do with the screenshot they are running, and this search project has nothing to do with Wikipedia.
